Aspirations Media™ is a family owned, independent publishing company, established July 2005. We are currently located in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota. Our intent is to establish a successful publishing company based on integrity, moral values, providing an opportunity for unpublished authors and creative individuals, of quality work, to have their material published and successfully marketed.

The mission of Aspirations Media, Inc. is to produce uplifting, morally sound books for all age groups, especially the impressionable preteen and teenagers in the world. Ultimately, in the publishing process and products Aspirations Media provides; we would allow ourselves to be a tool in God’s hand touching lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ and glorifying God.

In our brief existence we have endeavored to produce quality books and will continue to develop that reputation. Every effort is being made to improve our quality control and increase our efficiency. Helping unpublished creative individuals, writers and artists, will remain a huge part of who we are now and will be in the future. This is a major reason for our existence along with our enjoyment of the written word and other forms of media.

Are you a POD or Vanity Press?
No, we do not charge you a fee to print your manuscript nor print everything submitted to us just because the author wants copies to sell.

What type of publisher are you?
We are an independent publishing company offering publishing opportunities to all writers, especially unpublished authors.

What makes Aspirations Media different than other publishers?
AMI knows, through experience, the challenges many new authors have with the publishing process. Our intentions are to make publishing an accepted manuscript as stress free as possible. We maintain an open line of communication throughout and past the whole process. We give you several opportunities to have input into the publishing of your book and we work with you to create a market for your work.

Do I need an agent to publish through your company?
No, you many certainly use one or even consult with an agent. We prefer to work directly with the author; however, we will work through your agent if that is your preference.

How do I submit a manuscript?
There are very clear and self-explanatory submission guidelines located on this website. We only accept submissions following these guidelines. If you have a question or difficulty with your submission you may contact our Submissions Editor.

What genre do you publish?
At present we are publishing fantasy, science fiction, mystery, adventure, children’s books, and are open to any genre as long as it meets our criteria.

How much does it cost to be published by Aspirations Media?
Publishing a book is very costly and takes a great deal of time involving many people. You, however, do not pay us anything; we pay you royalties from the sale of your books. Because the expense of publishing is ours we are selective in what we publish and invest more time and money in advertising and marketing.

Do you publish authors from outside the United States?
Absolutely, we accept manuscripts from anywhere in the world, if they are acceptable to our Submissions Department, they will be published.

Are all your published books first run only or do you also publish reprints?
We publish first run books and reprints that meet our criteria and have no contractual situations that will not allow us to publish them.

Am I responsible for finding an artist for my book?
You may certainly find or suggest an artist you like to us or we will find one for you if you prefer. We do have a good selection of talent we work with and effort is made to make sure we have the right artists teamed to the right project so the desired result is generated.

Since you are a Christian based publisher, do you publish only Christian books?
We welcome all genres and types of books to be submitted to us for publication. As long as they meet our guidelines and we feel they will sell; we are open to publishing any book.
